The Boat is a means of Escape in Friday the 13th: The Game: Video Game. The boat can only hold 2 players.

The Boat is a 2 seated vehicle and before you can escape via the boat you must first Repair it by finding the Propeller and Gas Diesel.
Once you have found either the propeller or some gas, you must preform the repair QTE mini game to attach the part to the boat. If you fail at any part of the repair QTE mini game Jason will hear a sound cue alerting him to it.
In Offline Bots mode, boats do not appear.
Contrary to popular belief, the Boat's startup sound is not completely silent. Though it was silent for over a year after release due to developer error. This came as a surprise to the player-base, who assumed the silent boat startup was functioning as intended due to boat escapes being much easier for Jason to counteract after detection, in comparison to the cars.

Each time a map is loaded the vehicles are randomly spawned into the map, but have fixed locations as to where they could spawn.
