Tiffany Cox is one of the Counselors in Friday the 13th: The Game, and is nicknamed "The Flirty Girl".[1] She can be unlocked at Level 18.

Overview[edit | edit source]

A veritable bundle of energy, the flirty girl is good at sneaking around, with a high Stealth stat, and is light enough to run for a long time with good Stamina. She tends to freak out more easily and in general has less in the way of Composure. She's a pretty versatile character, but isn't well-suited for repairing tasks like fixing cars or getting power turned back on in cabins.[1]

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Tiffany is a counselor who rewards careful gameplay. She doesn't have the traits necessary for being a team player, and can be a bit hard to use when it comes to new players, but she possesses a rare mixture between stealth as well as overall athleticism.

Because of her low composure as well as luck, Tiffany can turn into a panicking mess who stumbles on a regular basis if she doesn't get a handle on her fear or has to deal with Jason. For this reason she isn't an ideal fighter, and not controlling her fear will create problems when she has to run from Jason even with her good athleticism.

Due to her maxed stealth, Tiffany will make no noise while jogging unless she's a few feet away from Jason. And while her speed isn't quite at the levels of Vanessa; Chad; or Buggzy, she's still faster than the average counselor. Finishing this off with nearly maxed stamina means she can jog for a very long time without attracting Jason's attention. The only way she'll ever be spotted is if she accidentally makes noise (sprinting, moving through water, attempting to run while out of stamina), or Jason happens to find her through Sense, and even then that's a tall order for Jason to deal with until his Sense detection range reaches a fairly long distance.

But her stealth can also be a double-edged sword at times. She is inadequate at making noise, so she won't be able to get Jason's attention easily if you wanted to draw aggro away from your teammates. You are sacrificing the ability to get Jason's attention in order to accomplish a great deal of work behind the scenes. Let other teammates deal with Jason; you should focus your attention on helping the team escape.

As with any athletic counselor who is sorely lacking in the ability to repair objectives, her main goal is to deliver parts she finds to their corresponding locations. But unlike Vanessa or Buggzy, Tiffany's role to push the objective that is least guarded by Jason. Her stealth makes her very capable of transporting parts silently while Jason focuses on counselors who make heavy amounts of noise, and when combined with her good athleticism it might not take very long for Tiffany to get an objective up-and-running quickly should a capable fixer be nearby.

Depending on the circumstances, Jason will sometimes ignore an objective or use a single trap to guard it, meaning Tiffany should do her best to deliver parts for those objectives. The typical objective Tiffany should focus on in a match includes the boat or the two-seater car. Since Jason will want to prevent as many counselors from escaping as possible, he will normally lock down the four-seater car as well as the phone box, meaning Tiffany should focus on the lesser objective in a match to avoid Jason's wrath.

Tiffany is an ideal female counselor to wear Pamela's sweater. Because of her athleticism, she can bolt away while standing a decent chance of staying away from Jason. And if done early in the match, Jason might not be able to Sense her if he cannot Morph immediately to the Shack since Tiffany might've gained a considerable amount of distance away. With maxed stealth it becomes difficult for Jason to locate her, and this puts even more pressure on Jason since he will be forced to wait until later stages in the game in order to potentially find her using Sense (so long as Tiffany stays away from major objectives).

For weapons, Tiffany should focus on choices with high stun potential as well as high durability like the wrench. Otherwise, firearms are a great universal pick, and due to her stealth it may even be possible to get the jump on Jason if he threatens your teammates.

Watch for Jason carefully, and strive to delivers parts while Jason's attention is focused elsewhere. If you're quick enough, Jason will never know you were even there.

Virtual Cabin 2.0[edit | edit source]

In the Virtual Cabin game mode, Tiffany as well as Kenny are both found in a first floor bedroom cuddling on a hammock; they are wearing their Spring Break '84 DLC clothing. After Jason breaks out of his display case, Tiffany's corpse is found on the hammock with an arrow through her chest.

She wears loose fitting blouses which hang off her shoulder, denim shorts and tennis shoes, as well as a silver ring. Her Spring Break 1984 outfit is a yellow bikini with pink patterns. Her Halloween costume is a "naughty devil", even including red horns.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Tiffany appears to be based on the twins Tina and Terri from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), as well as Terry McCarthy from Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981).
  • In the opening cutscene from Higgins Haven during the 2016 beta, she was always the first victim to be killed by Jason. Despite this, she was still playable. In the final product for the opening cutscenes, Rob Dier takes the place as the first victim to die instead of Tiffany.
  • It can be assumed that Tiffany is romantically involved with Kenny, as she can be seen cuddling with him in the Virtual Cabin.
